Causes of sexually transmitted diseases

sexually transmitted disease is caused by bacteria,virus,and parasites. they are may be treated or not. the germs that cause STDs may be spread by any form of vaginal sex, anal sex or mouth sex and the infected body fluid from the infected patients, which came in contact with healthy individual through mucus membrane then it transmits disease.


STDs caused by bacterias are


Gonorrhea:- is caused by bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

syphilis:- is caused by the spirochete bacterium Treponema pallidum.

chlamydia:- is caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis.

these STDs can be cured with antibiotics.


STDs caused by viruses are


HIV/AIDS:- is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Genital herpes:- is caused by Herpes simplex virus. 

Genital warts:- is caused by some sub-types of human papillomavirus (HPV).

these STDs can be controlled but cant be cured.


STDs caused by parasites are



Scabies:- is caused by visible parasite, the mite Sarcoptes scabiei.

Trichomoniasis:- is caused by caused by the single-celled protozoan parasite Trichomonas vaginalis.

Pubic lice:- is caused by an insect crab louse (Pthirus pubis) that is an obligate ectoparasite of humans.
